This particular version of beaded open
work has appeared in 1985 as a
     combination of tatting and beads.

The endearing portable tatting proves to
be the best technique for arranging beads
     into open work.

     And beads are beads!
They adorn and sparkle in any
     arrangement.

By 1988 the combination has unfolded
     into BEANILE or BEANILE Lace
     (an abbreviation for: BEAdwork by
NInaLibin, and E at the end is exactly
what it looks like -- the silent E).

     All ornamental components of
     BEANILE Lace:
     beads, thread, and negative space,
     are very important for design.

     The technique shows unlimited
     possibilities for jewelers, costume
      designers, and fiberartists.

Tatted Lace of Beads, the Techniques of BEANILE Lace
             published by LACIS in 1998.
